My name is Abby Howland, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with 6 years of experience in the field of education. Currently, I serve as a Middle School Special Education teacher at Fall River School District in Fall River, WI, where I am committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for all of our students.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in both Regular and Special Education from the University of Wisconsin -Madison, where I developed a strong foundation in educational theories and practices.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my innovative teaching methods and dedication to student success. I was named Teacher of the Week at my last district where I taught all six years of my teaching experience. Outside of the school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as competing in bowling leagues throughout the fall/winter season and volleyball leagues in the summer.
In the classroom, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and are encouraged to achieve their best. I utilize a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and needs, ensuring that each student can thrive academically and personally. I hope to create positive educational impacts on all students throughout the Fall River School District.
