Amy has been in public education for over 28 years. She has spent the last 23 in the Fall River School District. For the first 15 years, she taught Business and Information Technology to students in grades 2-12. Currently, she serves as the Academic & Career Coordinator where she provides students with academic and career advising services and resources. She also coordinates all district wide assessments and assists the Career & Technical Education departments in adhering to local and state requirements. Her passion over the past several years has been in helping move the district from a traditional points based grading system to a standards based system that we call “Grading for Learning”. She hopes to continue to be a part of future district initiatives that are focused on improving student achievement.
