My name is Andraya Palen, and I am thrilled to join the Fall River Community. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and our two yellow labs, with whom we love to spend time outdoors. I am a 2nd grade teacher and feel honored to be part of this environment. Previously, I taught 1st grade at Dodgeland and 2nd grade in Oshkosh. I earned my degrees from Winona State University, majoring in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Reading Instruction. 

In my classroom, I strive to establish a structured routine while demonstrating that learning can be enjoyable. My goal is to foster an atmosphere where students feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged to express their individual personalities and academic pursuits. I believe in the importance of teaching students that learning is a lifelong journey and nurturing their curiosity by providing resources and skills applicable throughout their lives.
