With a passion for both healthcare and education, I serve as the school nurse for elementary, middle, and high school students. In addition to providing essential health services, I also teach middle school courses on healthy living, the high school course Health Career Exploration, as well as a dual credit Medical Terminology course.

I am committed to fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for students at all stages of their academic journey. With a focus on prevention, education, and early intervention, I work to empower students to take charge of their own health and well-being, while also inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As the full-time school nurse, I’m available throughout the school day to address students' health needs and provide support. I’m also happy to meet with parents by appointment to discuss any health concerns or questions regarding their child's well-being. Open communication is essential in maintaining a healthy school environment, and I’m always here to offer guidance and assistance.

I strongly believe in the power of community partnerships and welcome opportunities to collaborate with local healthcare professionals and organizations. Whether it’s for health education, student mentoring, or wellness initiatives, I’m eager to connect with those who have a passion for improving the health of our school community.

I am actively involved in the Wisconsin Health Science Educators Association (WI HSEA), the Wisconsin chapter of the National Association of School Nurses (WI NASN), as well as local county and CESA 5 school nurse groups, which allows me to stay connected with peers and remain up-to-date with the latest practices in school health.

Living in the same community I serve, I’m deeply invested in the well-being of our students and families. I’m married with two elementary school-aged boys and a dog named Meatball. In my free time, I enjoy staying active through athletics, reading, and spending time relaxing with friends and family.
